Technical Assistance for the Construction of Solid Waste Treatment Plant in Epirus Region

The project concerned the PPP project for the Construction of Solid Waste treatment Plant in Epirus in Greece. The project and the Consultant’s were funded by NSRF 2014-2020 (National Strategic Reference Framework) co-funded by the Cohesion Fund. The total investment was at 45.6 million euros including VAT, with a guaranteed funding of 20 million euros from the NSRF, while the rest was financed by the contractor and its bank. The project of Epirus was designed for 72,000 tons of mixed waste and 8,000 tons of separate collected organic waste, whereas its maximum operating capacity will be 105,000 tons per year. It uses the technology of mechanical and biological processing with energy production.

  • Project Management (under the procedures of EU Cohesion Fund)
  • Support during the contractual procedures
