The Green Point of the Municipality of Loutraki – Perachora – Agioi Theodoroi was approved as eligible project for funding in the Operational Program “Infrastructure, Transport, Environment & Sustainable Development 2014-2020” (NSRF) with a total budget of 1.406.286,09€.

The project concerns the separate collection and storage in one (1) Green Point and three (3) Recycling Corners – which will be directly accessible to all citizens- of separate streams of municipal waste, in order to promote recycling or preparation for reuse thus reducing waste landfilling and related cost of mixed waste management.

The Green Point is an organized space where citizens can bring recyclables, edible oils and fats, electrical and electronic equipment waste, textile waste, biodegradable garden and park waste, bulky waste as well as small quantities of small repairs and household maintenance.

EPTA SA (www.epta.gr) undertook the preparation of project’s maturity study and therefore contributed technically in the project’s funding approval in the framework of NSRF 2014 – 2020.
