The C-Track 50 project, in collaboration with the Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy – Europe and another Horizon 2020 funded project, PentaHelix, are organising a series of online events for local and regional authorities across Europe focusing on long term energy and climate planning. A number of other EU projects and initiative will also contribute to these workshops to share their experiences.
The first event, on the 20th of May 2021 will focus on how local and regional authorities can build effective collaboration processes. The second event, on the 27th of May 2021 will focus on how to successfully plan for the future, whilst the third event, on the 1st of June 2021 will focus on how to finance climate and energy plans. Each online event will include inspiring presentations from various actors (high-level EU representatives, local and regional authorities, academia, project coordinators etc.) followed by practical discussions in small groups (breakout sessions). The latter will offer a unique opportunity for participants to ask questions and discuss opportunities and challenges faced.
