EPTA acted as the technical advisor of the Greek Ministry of Environment on the acceleration of cities’ transition to the circular economy. EPTA prepared a guide that contains an assessment of the main developmental and challenges that challenges that cities are facing and the ways in which the concept of circular economy can be extended beyond the economic sphere and be applied to different city assets.

Its objective is to give practical advice to the local authorities in the development of a circular city as well as to contribute to the overall discourse.
