The design of the new wastewater treatment plant of the Municipality of Marathon has completed after a 20-years’ effort of the Municipality of Marathon to solve the environmental problems caused by the absence of systems for collecting and treating urban wastewater.

The new WWTP will be capable to receive and treat the wastewater of 110,000 PE.

EPTA conducted the Environmental Impact Assessment Study of the project and provided technical support to the municipality of Marathon during the permitting procedure
